The article analyzes the role of Leningrad in the structure of scientific and technical cooperation between the USSR and SRV in 1976– 1983 on the basis of archival data. The author comes to a conclusion about high quality results of Leningrad institutions collaborating with SRV, successes of Leningrad leadership in cooperation with regions of Vietnam, involvement of most large industrial enterprises, leading higher educational institutions, design and research organizations of the city in scientific and technical cooperation between the USSR and SRV. 

During World War II, the Soviet Union provided large-scale and multifaceted military assistance to the national liberation movement of Yugoslavia. This activity had several main directions, including training of Yugoslav military personnel in the USSR. The second direction was the training of Yugoslav military personnel in the USSR with the simultaneous creation of military formations. Thirdly, the formation of military units and the training of their personnel took place on the territory of Yugoslavia.

This article is devoted to the American policy toward Turkey in the 1980s. The special attention is paid to the influence of the «perestroika» in the USSR on changing Ankara`s role in the foreign policy of Washington. The article shows competition between ethnic lobbies and the Reagan administration for the right to determine the direction of the American-Turkish relations.

The hypothesis is justified in the article thatidentity of positions on situation in Iran after Nazi aggression against USSR have predetermined rather rapid overcoming of mutual distrust between USSR and Great Britain and conclusion of an agreement on joint actions in the war against Germany.

In this article, I.M. Maisky’s involvement in the elaboration of a joint USSR and Great Britain position concerning Iran in the summer of 1941 is considered, based on his memoirs, diaries and correspondence. 

В статье рассматриваются первые шаги СССР и Великобритании,
предпринятые в июле 1941 г. по выработке их дипломатическими
службами согласованной позиции в отношении Тегерана. Пока-
зано, что в связи с неприемлемым для них немецким влиянием
в Иране Москва и Лондон предприняли несколько политических
демаршей и, в конечном счете, были вынуждены начать прора-
ботку вопроса о вводе своих войск в эту страну.

В статье на основе документов из Архива внешней политики Российской Федерации рассматривается характер и содержание встречи народного комиссара по иностранным делам СССР В. М. Молотова с послом Ирана в Москве М. Саедом, состоявшейся 25 августа 1941 г., на которой Молотов проинформировал посла о вводе советских войск в Иран и вручил соответствующую ноту.

В статье на основе донесений фельдмаршала А. Уйэвелла военному министру Великобритании Дж. Григу рассматриваются подготовка и осуществление ввода британских сил в Иран в августе 1941 г. в рамках совместной операции с Красной армией.
