Leningrad in the structure of scientific and technical cooperation between the Soviet Union and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1976–1983

The article analyzes the role of Leningrad in the structure of scientific and technical cooperation between the USSR and SRV in 1976– 1983 on the basis of archival data. The author comes to a conclusion about high quality results of Leningrad institutions collaborating with SRV, successes of Leningrad leadership in cooperation with regions of Vietnam, involvement of most large industrial enterprises, leading higher educational institutions, design and research organizations of the city in scientific and technical cooperation between the USSR and SRV. 

Ленинград в структуре научно-технического сотрудничества СССР и СРВ (1976-1983 гг.)

В статье на основе архивных данных анализируется роль Ленинграда в структуре научно-технического сотрудничества СССР и СРВ в 1976-1983 гг. Автор приходит к выводу о высоком качестве результатов деятельности ленинградских учреждений, сотрудничавших с СРВ, успехах руководства Ленинграда в рамках взаимодействия с регионами Вьетнама, вовлеченности большинства крупных промышленных предприятий, ведущих высших образовательных учреждений, проектных и научно-исследовательских организаций города в научно-техническое сотрудничество между СССР и СРВ.

Problems of Russia and Germany cooperation in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic

The article examines the development of a dialogue between Russia and Germany regarding the recognition of the Sputnik V vaccine, the opinions of German and European politicians on this issue. The author comes to the conclusion that the mutual recognition of vaccines between Russia and Germany as one of the main actors of the European Union could be both the beginning of an improvement in the situation with the spread of the virus, as well as bilateral relations and relations between Russia and the EU as a whole. 

Tourism as an instrument of public diplomacy

This article is devoted to issues of diplomatic development. The author marks the increasing role and value of public diplomacy in solution of global problems. Tourism takes up the special position among the main instruments of public diplomacy. It humanizes international relations and consolidates the image of the state. 

Швеция – ЕС: эволюция сотрудничества в рамках политики обороны и безопасности

В статье на примере отношений Швеции и Европейского союза рассматриваются изменения в понимании и трактовке угроз безопасности в 1990-е годы и ответная реакция на них. В этом контексте автор проанализировал мотивы вступления в ЕС ранее нейтральной и свободной от альянсов Швеции. Такой подход позволил также охарактеризовать степень эффективности шведской модели безопасности.

Azerbaijani-Turkish Economic Cooperation: Formation and Main Directions of Development (1992–2010)

The article is devoted to the analysis of the main directions of development of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the post-Soviet period (1992–2010). The author considers the legal basis of Azerbaijani-Turkish economic relations, and the impact of bilateral treaties on the growth and dynamics of economic indicators. A detailed analysis of the importance of the countries in social and economic life of each other is presented.
