Неолиберальный подход к исследованию проблем обеспечения безопасности

В настоящей статье проведен анализ исследования проблем обеспечения безопасности с позиции неолиберализма на примере двух межправительственных организаций (Европейский союз и НАТО), рассматриваются особенности трансатлантического сотрудничества, дается характеристика институтов в сравнении с трактовками неореалистского подхода. НАТО и Евросоюз выступают примером автономности международных институтов.

European integration as a factor in the process of the Montenegrin state-building

The article deals with the peculiarities of the development of the Montenegrin state-building and Montenegro’s prospects for the European integration after the referendum in 2006. In the wake of the demise of the SFRY and the occurrence of new sovereign states, the Western Balkans became a sphere of interest to the European Union. The author concludes that the European integration and the EU accession process commenced to turn into a major foreign policy goal.

European vector of Turkish foreign policy

The article focuses on the issue of Turkey’s EU accession. It examines the main problems and prospects of Turkish integration with the EU. It also presents the reforms of Turkish government with a view to match the Copenhagen Criteria and the attitude of European politicians towards the accession of Turkey to the European Union

The European Union’s social policy is the subject of a large number of studies; it is an important area of domestic policy for each EU member state and their citizens. The formation of the EU general social policy passed certain stages in its historical development. The purpose of this study is to identify the problems that arise in the formation of the EU unified social policy in the context of its development.

Швеция – ЕС: эволюция сотрудничества в рамках политики обороны и безопасности

В статье на примере отношений Швеции и Европейского союза рассматриваются изменения в понимании и трактовке угроз безопасности в 1990-е годы и ответная реакция на них. В этом контексте автор проанализировал мотивы вступления в ЕС ранее нейтральной и свободной от альянсов Швеции. Такой подход позволил также охарактеризовать степень эффективности шведской модели безопасности.

The French society and the referendum of the «constitution of Europe» in 2005

This article is focused on studying the preparation and conduct of the referendum of «the Constitution for Europe» in France. Particular attention is paid to analysis of the evolution of the attitude of the French electorate toward the idea of a “referendum” and a “Constitution for Europe” from the moment the president’s announcement about his intention to hold a referendum, and its results that led to the rejection of «the Constitution». Besides, the internal factors that contributed to the negative outcome of the referendum are discussed.
