About a position of leaders of the USA on oil cooperation with Saudi Arabia in 1943

The article examines approaches of the American authorities to questions of providing the state with a strategic raw material – oil, in the specific conditions of World War II. This evidence revealed  the different approaches of the heads of ministries and departments to Saudi Arabia. The author reveals the role of U.S. business to strengthen political and economic cooperation with the oil emirate. This article demonstrates that a thorough analysis of documents opens up new possibilities for the study of US-Saudi relations in the abovementioned period.

Turkey, Iran, USA and the Iraq Crisis of 2003 year

In article are analyzed the specificity of relations between Turkey, Iran and the USA on the eve, during Iraq war and after. Thus the author gives the big attention to consideration of turkish and Iranian tools of crisis reaction to address of this conflict, and also touches a kurdish question which aggravation was direct investigation of the american intervention.

The Iranian issue in the context of the American-Russian relations (2000–2008)

The article is devoted to American-Russian relations during the period of presidency of George W. Bush. The author focuses on the U.S. position on Russian-Iranian collaboration issue. The role of personal diplomacy of George W. Bush and V. Putin in the process of bilateral relations of U.S.A. And Russia is highlighted.

The article is devoted to the study of the geo-political changes in Central Asia. The expansion of China’s influence and Russia’s weakening are analyzed. The author defines the factors that Russia can oppose to the prospects for transforming this region into Pax Sinica

The article describes reaction of U.S. society to the crisis moments of international Affairs 1931–1939. U.S. media estimates analyzed the Germany's aggression in Europe and Japanese aggression in Asiа

Russian-American Relations in the Caspian Region during a New Stage of the Neoconservative Strategy (2003)

The article is devoted to the study of forming the new political environment in the Caspian region after the completion of the «Operation Iraqi Freedom» in May 2003. In the context of the American and Russian strategic plans, the attitudes of the Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan governments towards Moscow and Washington policies, as well as the influence of the new political environment on the Russian-American relations are also analyzed.

Анализируются основные положения статьи Збигнева Бжезинского «На пути к глобальному переустройству», опубликованной в апреле 2016 г. Американский политолог констатирует завершение эпохи глобального доминирования США и начавшееся перераспределение глобального политического влияния. В этой связи оцениваются перспективы КНР на статус нового глобального лидера, а также характеризуется будущее американо-китайских отношений.

НОВЫЙ ЭТАП В ОТНОШЕНИЯХ РОССИИ И НАТО В ЭПОХУ СДЕРЖИВАНИЯ И ДИАЛОГА

В статье рассмотрены процессы изменения архитектуры европейской безопасности в контексте трансформации современной стратегии НАТО. Автор анализирует вопросы нового военного строительства и новых подходов к взаимодействию между Россией и странами Запада в области безопасности. Нынешний этап пересмотра взаимоотношений представляется в качестве отправной точки для корректировки подходов сторон к вопросам взаимного диалога и сотрудничества.

Religious Discourse in the Early Debates of Penitentiary Reformers in the USA

The article examines the impact of the theological views of the American Protestant denominations representatives on the formation of theoretical and methodological foundations of the American prison systems. The U. S.A. is considered to be the «pioneers» in the realization of prison reforms in the nineteenth century. Actually it was in America that the first progressive penitentiary systems were arranged: Pennsylvanian and Auburn systems. The elements of American prison systems were later borrowed by European and Russian penal reformers.

Religion and Soviet Society in the Works of American Observers of the 1930s

The article is devoted to the analysis of American observers’ views on the status of religion in the Soviet society in the 1930s. There were two different groups among them: engineers and workers who came to participate in the industrialization of the USSR, and professional journalists from the United States. Perceiving the socio-political processes that took place in our counrty often in different ways, the American observers agreed on one position.
