The article examines the consistent evolution of the UN and US sanctions policy towards North Korea. Key aspects of their approaches are highlighted. They are analyzed and compared, similarities and differences in approaches, goals and methods are identified. The results of these policies are examined, and a conclusion is made about the achievement of the stated goals.
