The paper addresses the problem of the influence of rumors about the royal treason and speech P.N. Milyukova November 1, 1916 on the formation of negative public opinion against the rulers. Based on the analysis of various sources has concluded that were distributed during the First World War, rumors of royal treachery, as part of a «political pornography», and speech Milyukova, along with other objective and subjective factors played a fatal role in the desecration of the royal power and the fall of the Russian monarchy.

The paper addresses the problem of the influence of the camarilla of internal and external policies of the last Russian emperor. Based on the analysis of materials of the Extraordinary Commission of Inquiry of Provisional Government, and other sources in the article assesses the role and importance of the camarilla in policy decisions Nicholas II. The article concludes that the camarilla, the so-called «dark forces», along with other negative factors, have played a fateful role in the fate of the country.

The article attempts to define the role and impact of GE Rasputin on domestic and foreign policies of the last Russian emperor. The article is devoted to revealing the ways of organizing the metropolitan celebrations in 1894–1924. The author focuses on the city’s metropolitan area, which was the ‘stage’ for preparing public celebrations, first by the autocratic monarchy, then by the Provisional government, and finally by the Soviet government. Based on organizational documentation, the article shows the transformation of the influence on the choice of the triumph vector from centralization to decentralization and vice versa.
