The article analyzes the conjugation between the Eurasian Economic Union and China’s Belt and Road Initiative in terms of political and legal cooperation. It examines the evolution of the partnership from initial arrangements to the development of specific conjugation mechanisms. The study focuses on key stages of cooperation: from political declarations to the formation of concrete conjugation frameworks. Particular attention is paid to differences in the parties’ approaches, harmonization of regulatory frameworks, and practical implementation results.

The article examines the evolution of Eurasian integration. The author proposes a five-stage periodization of Eurasian integration. It emphasizes the complexity of the interaction between geopolitical and economic interests that have shaped the course of Eurasian integration over the past three decades, as well as the significance of the EAEU as a platform for further integration within Eurasia and the creation of the idea of the Greater Eurasian Partnership (BEP) as a new concept aimed at forming a broad integration framework.
