Budgets of families of collective farmers of the USSR in 1958–1964 (based on unpublished statistics from 1965)

The article analyzes statistical data, closed for many decades to the average user, on the budgets of families of peasant farmers in 1958–1964. Analyzing these materials, it can be concluded that the situation of the collective farm peasantry of the USSR has not undergone significant changes. Monetary incomes increased slightly, while income from personal household holdings decreased as a result of government policy restrictions. The consumption of various types of agricultural products had no upward trends.

Land management of Jews in the Pskov region in the 1920s

In the article, based on the materials of the Pskov Region of the 1920s, attempts to transform Jews into an agricultural nation are considered: allotment of their land, land management, organization of national collective farms; the inconsistency of the activities carried out, their results are shown.

Power and the Church during the period of collectivization in the Moscow region

The article highlights the relationships between the Soviet state and the Russian Orthodox Church (hereinafter referred to as the «Russian Orthodox Church») in the late 1920s and early 1930s, during the period of collectivization of the villages, which was accompanied by the destruction of traditional life, a dramatic violation of the usual way of life. The focus is on the policy of attacking the Russian Orthodox Church, expressed in the closure of churches and monasteries, militant atheism and repressive measures against priests.
