The article examines the evolution of Eurasian integration. The author proposes a five-stage periodization of Eurasian integration. It emphasizes the complexity of the interaction between geopolitical and economic interests that have shaped the course of Eurasian integration over the past three decades, as well as the significance of the EAEU as a platform for further integration within Eurasia and the creation of the idea of the Greater Eurasian Partnership (BEP) as a new concept aimed at forming a broad integration framework.

The article examines the foundations of bilateral relations between Moldova and Romania since the collapse of the USSR. The author analyzes the phenomenon of Moldovan unionism and its influence on the foreign policy of Chisinau in the Romanian direction. Individual stages of Moldovan-Romanian relations are highlighted in the context of regular transformations of the internal political situation in Moldova.

The article examines the dynamics of Moldova’s participation in the CIS in the context of the internal political struggle in the republic. The author analyzes the process of a country joining the organization and highlights problematic aspects of this process. The influence of international actors on the formation of the foreign policy course of Chisinau between Russia and the EU is considered.

The article analyzes the process of strategic planning in the post-Soviet space. Using comparative analysis the author singles out two groups of the CIS countries with different long-term strategies. Special attention is given to the consideration of a new long-term Kazakhstan Strategy known as “Strategy of Kazakhstan-2050: A new political course for Kazakhstan in the fast changing world”.
