Women’s Social Nets of Influence: Noble Women’s Relationship in England in the First Half of XVI Century

This article is devoted to the phenomenon of so called “women’s social nets of influence”, which is connected with “women’s power”. On the basis of lady Lisle’s letters the author tried to study the informal influence of an English aristocratic woman in the XVI century and show that the most effective methods were private correspondence, presenting gifts and giving alternative favours.
