Training of military personnel for the Red Army in Volsk during the Civil War (1918–1922)

The article examines the history of military educational institutions evacuated to the city of Volsk during the Civil War. The role of the Volsky machine gun courses and the Kronstadt diving school in the training of commanders for the Red Army and the Red Army is explored. The contribution of Volsky cadets in the defeat of Popov’s detachments in the Saratov Volga region and their participation in the struggle for the establishment of Soviet power in Transcaucasia and Central Asia is studied.

The causes and features of the manifestation of violent forms of the agrarian movement on the eve of the First Russian Revolution (based on the materials of the Saratov province)

The article examines the violent forms of the agrarian movement of late Imperial Russia as the most dangerous and destructive ways of peasant protest in socio-political, legal and economic terms. Using the example of the Saratov province, the author identifies the causes, motivations and delinquent methods of expressing various illegal excesses in the peasant environment. The main content of the study is the analysis of violent forms of the agrarian movement in Russia at the beginning of the XX century, as varieties of agrarian terror.

The problem of the excess of revolutionary violence in the peasant movement of 1905–1907 (based on the materials of the Saratov Province)

The article examines the phenomenon of revolutionary violence, cultivated and entrenched in the mass peasant consciousness at the beginning of the XX century. The author, relying on archival sources, explores the evolution and features of the excesses of revolutionary violence manifested inthe peasantmovement in 1905–1906 usingthe example ofthe Saratov province. The article concludesthatthe syndrome of violence in the agrarian movement has formed as an archetype of the mass revolutionized consciousness of the peasant masses, manifested in their illegal actions.
