Conjugation of the EAEU and China’s Belt and Road Initiative: Formation of political approaches and legal foundations

The article analyzes the conjugation between the Eurasian Economic Union and China’s Belt and Road Initiative in terms of political and legal cooperation. It examines the evolution of the partnership from initial arrangements to the development of specific conjugation mechanisms. The study focuses on key stages of cooperation: from political declarations to the formation of concrete conjugation frameworks. Particular attention is paid to differences in the parties’ approaches, harmonization of regulatory frameworks, and practical implementation results.

The International Monetary Fund in the focus of party rivalry in the United States (late XX – early XXI centuries)

The article is devoted to the study of the evolution of the International Monetary Fund under the influence of various international interests, primarily the political elite of the United States. The main focus is on analyzing the IMF reform process and the impact of various American administrations on it. The assumption is substantiated that D. Trump’s return will not terminate the US membership in the fund, he will try to adapt it to solving his strategic tasks.

The “Great Game” in the Caspian Region: the Kremlin’s Move (2004)

The article is devoted to the study of the Russian-American relations in the Caspian region that were entitled “The Great Game”. Analyzing one of the stages of these relations (spring-autumn 2004) that was marked by the higher activity of the V. Putin’s Government, the author has come to the conclusion that “the Kremlin offensive” was stipulated by the presidential campaign in the USA, and the necessity to oppose the China’s penetration into Central Asia.

China’s policy in Central Asia and Russia’s strategy

The article is devoted to the study of the geo-political changes in Central Asia. The expansion of China’s influence and Russia’s weakening are analyzed. The author defines the factors that Russia can oppose to the prospects for transforming this region into Pax Sinica

Features of the existence of the Orthodox Church in China in the first half of the 1950s according to documents of State Archive of the Russian Federation

The article describes the peculiarities of the existence of the Orthodox Church in China during a difficult period, when the main carriers of the Orthodox faith – emigrants, immigrants from the territory of the former Russian Empire left the country. The research was based on archival sources, as well as some available publications. The author shows that in the early 1950s Orthodoxy in China began to decline. The idea of creating an independent Chinese Orthodox Church, which will be implemented in the future, also dates back to this time.
